The Journal of PAAL welcomes contributions written in English on applied linguistics and related interdisciplinary fields. Manuscripts first undergo a preliminary review. If topic and scope are deemed appropriate, they are then sent out for blind review to three readers selected from the General Editorial Board.See submission guideline in detail.

Contributions are accepted in the form of regular papers, including theoretical discussions, case study reports, observational or experimental studies, replies, and review articles, as well as correspondence. The PAAL Journal is published biannually and indexed in LLBA (Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts), ERIC (Education Resources Information Center), and KISS (Korean Studies Information Service System).
